The Blog is up & running again!
We are in full swing with new classes through the month of August & Sept. The guys are knitting on Sat evenings Aug 6 & 13. We still have a couple of spots available. Check out the knitty.com issues on guys knitting!
Our first spin-in is Wed, Aug 17 from 6-8. We'll push back the racks & spin away!
We have lots of new yarns & more coming. The Elspeth Lavold yarn & pattern books are in. The yarn is a beautiful wool & silk blend. Inerlacements sent a wonderful bulky hand-dyed chenille. Great for scarves & hats or even a bulky knit sweater. We have new rug-hooking kits from Patti, too.
The one-needle class has been cancelled for now. Sylvie Cox's husband, Jerry, is definitely battling cancer so she is going to take care of him & we will let you know when she can reschedule.
Sherry Robinson is teaching a 2-needle, 2-hand Fairisle class Aug 16, 23, & 30, at 2:30-4:30 in the afternoons. She is also doing another Beginning Knitting class Aug 1 & 23 at 6-8 pm. These classes have been extremely popular & we have made the class size smaller for more personal attention from Sherry. She is planning a Cable Knitting class in Sept on the 6,13, & 20. She will be teaching a new method without using cable needles. There is going to be a Beginning Knitting 2 - Knitting in the Round-Hat class in Sept, too.
All cotton yarns are on sale - 30% off..........
It is so fun to be thinking winter/ Christmas knitting!
